Wendy began her career in the nursing home industry about 30 years ago as a nursing assistant while earning her LPN in nursing school. She worked as an LPN in nursing homes until she earned her Bachelors degree in Health Care Administration and Geriatrics. Fifteen years ago, Wendy and her family moved to Michigan. While in Michigan, her husband became the manager of Ritz Camera shop at Westwood Mall and Wendy worked as a regional director for two large nursing home corporations, overseeing about seventeen facilities as the corporations grew.
